Riding Lessons for All Ages
At Synergy Stables, we educate riders in all aspects of horse care and riding.
Private and group lessons are available with our horses or yours Monday thru Friday, and both English and Western lessons are available; beginner through intermediate.
Children's Riding Academy
Opening Jan 1st, 2008 - Now Enrolling!
In these three month programs we guide children with the use of horses in being the best they can be, by offering positive feedback toward learning personal responsibility, confidence, and self acceptance. The courses are taught through hands on experience as well as written materials, and at the end of each quarter the children are tested on the materials presented to determine their advancement to the next level.
Classes meet once a week on Saturdays from 2pm to 5pm.
There are 12 three hour classes in each 3 month session.
- Winter (January - March)
- Spring (April - June)
- Summer (July - September)
- Autumn (October - December)
Each level includes instruction in 4 areas:
- Tack and equipment
- Horsemanship: Ground work, Stable maintenance, Grooming
- Veterinary care
- Mounted lessons
Tuition includes books/handouts and a snack with drink. Students must have proper attire — jeans, and boots with a heel. Some school helmets are available. All other equipment and supplies will be provided. Family discounts are available.
